A trip to the northwest wouldn’t be complete without experiencing a whale sighting in the wild. The San Juan Islands northwest of Seattle are home to three families of orca whales. The area is considered the best place in the world to see Orcas in their natural habitat. Join Island Adventures for an exciting whale watch and wildlife tour in the beautiful San Juan Islands. Choose between two vessels and several daily departure times throughout the season. Departing from the mainland in Anacortes, the tour heads west into the protected islands in search of a variety of wildlife including seals, sea lions, bald eagles, seabirds, porpoises, Minke whales, Gray whales, and Orca whales. Naturalists and hydrophones are on board, and whale sightings are guaranteed or you receive a voucher to tour again for free!
