Seattle Events for the Week of 10/24

Thursday, October 25 (7:30 pm)
The Seattle Symphony is performing renowned historical works to celebrate the Moore Theatre’s Centennial Series. Featured favorites include Mendelssohn, Mozart and Stravinsky.

Saturday, October 27 - Sunday, October 28 (10 am- 6 pm)
Head on over to the Pacific Science Center for Tricks, Treats & Science Feats! From giant pumpkin sculpting, snake demos, to haunted planetarium shows, you can celebrate Halloween with a scientific twist!

Saturday, October 27 (11 am- 2 pm)
Get your doggies dressed up and let them strut their stuff at Dog-o-Ween, sponsored by the Coalition for Off-Leash Areas. There’s a silent auction, food vendors, and a costume contest, so get ready to see some hilarious garb on both pets and owners alike.

Saturday, October 27- Sunday, October 28
Celebrate Dia de Muertos at Seattle Center with performance artists, altars, artwork and music. Food and dance will also be featured at the event, paying tribute to the countries of Latin America and creating a compelling and vibrant experience.

Sunday, October 28 (9:30 am - 5 pm)
Kids can trick or treat in the daytime at Trick or Treat on the Waterfront sponsored by the Seattle Aquarium. There’s also underwater pumpkin carving demonstrations, performances by Recess Monkey (three local schoolteachers making family-friendly tunes), along with refreshments and lots of fun!
