Pacific Science Center Pacific Science Center offers over 300 interactive hands-on exhibits for people of all ages. Enjoy such things as the tropical butterfly house where you can literally walk among hundreds of butterflies. There’s even a tide pool area where you can learn about and hold sea life. Stroll among giant robotic dinosaurs, see incredible live demonstrations, visit the Planetarium and IMAX theaters, or ride a high rail bike one story above the ground. There’s so much to see and do.

Directions:
Monorail: Take the Seattle Center Monorail from the Westlake Center, located in the heart of downtown Seattle. The trip takes only 90 seconds.
Take Metro: Many Seattle Metro buses will drop you off at the entrance of Pacific Science Center, including routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 19 and 24. For complete Metro bus information and schedules, visit Metro’s Web site at transit.metrokc.gov or call (206) 553-3000.
By Car: From I-5 North or South: Take exit #167, Mercer Street. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Fairview Ave. Move into the middle lane and follow the road as it curves to the left. Follow the road until you reach Denny Way. Turn right onto Denny Way. Follow Denny Way for one block and turn right onto Second Ave. N.

Notes:
Proceed to ticket booths at north or south end. Tip: Paid parking is available in its James Albert Claypool Memorial Garage which is located at the corner of Second Avenue North and Denny Way and provides a covered walkway directly into Pacific Science Center’s south entrance.
