Entry with the Go Seattle Card
Anyone who has ever tapped a toe or sung in the shower will find their inner rock star at EMP. When you’ve finished marveling at Frank Gehry’s eye-popping architecture, interactive and interpretive exhibits tell the story of the creative, innovative, and rebellious expression that defines American popular music. No mere collection of rock ‘n’ roll artifacts—although it is home to the largest Jimi Hendrix memorabilia collection—EMP also features the enormous Sky Church concert venue and the ultra high-tech Sound Lab where you can sample all kinds of modern musical instruments. It’s virtually impossible to take it all in during one visit, so follow your own beat and wander to your heart’s content.
